January 2012 Testing

Holiday Greetings!

I hope everyone is having a joyous season. The next round of belt tests will be on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 3 p.m. The following students will be eligible to test:

• Gregory M
• Ethan M
• Peter M
• Oliver G
• Aidan D
• Myles M
• Landon M

There are several other students who normally test during this cycle, but their records of class attendance are insufficient to qualify. Please be reminded that the three month promotion cycle presumes that students are attending classes an average of about twice weekly. If students do not attend with that frequency, it does not mean that they will not be able to test for promotion, but their tests will be delayed until they have attended the requisite number of classes. Those students who are scheduled to test in January whose recent attendance has been irregular should make special efforts to attend more routinely between now and the test date. Testing students should also review test requirements in the manual and speak with instructors about any required techniques that they have not yet learned.
