About Us

Moo Duk Martial Arts Institute offers classes in the traditional Korean martial arts of Tang Soo Do and Hap Ki Do. Serving southeast Michigan, we draw students from Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, and the surrounding area.

Organized in 2006 as a non-profit club, our community of martial artists is characterized by warmth, camaraderie and affordability. The club is guided by a board of directors and Master instructor Mark P. Fancher. In February 2011, we achived our long-term goal of opening a dedicated training facility.  Our dojang is located at 2630 Washtenaw Avenue, Ypsilanti, Michigan.

We are affiliated with the International Martial Arts Association, which has members and schools on several continents.
